Follow My JourneyTreatment days could be long, noisy, and I usually did not feel very good walking in. Between televisions, conversations, and machines beeping, my noise-canceling headphones became one of my treatment-day essentials. I would put them on, start my playlist, and let the rest of the room fade away.
Title Holder became my theme song against the cancer; my battle anthem.
Fight like a title holder.
Stand like a champion.
Live like a warrior,
and never let 'em break you down.
(woohoo)
If you are building your own treatment-day playlist, I recommend giving this one a listen.
When I beat this, those lyrics are going down my arm — starting at my shoulder, with WOO-HOO on my knuckles.
Life Beyond Treatment
Cancer can take up an enormous amount of attention. Life Beyond Treatment is about finding things that give your mind somewhere else to go—hobbies, nature, creativity, movement, comfort, and whatever helps you reconnect with the rest of life. I’ll share the things I tried and enjoyed, along with ideas you can explore in your own way.
Explore Life Beyond TreatmentCanceromachy is an evolving story that transforms a real stage IV cancer journey into a modern Greek myth. Medicine, lived experience, and ancient mythology move through the same world as gods, monsters, treatment rooms, and the hidden battles taking place inside the body.
